Katy Perry was devastated when she was forced to throw away her “virginity underwear”.
The quirky pop star has spent days sorting through her possessions as she prepares to move house. She has loved unearthing old photographs, but was horrified when her assistant made her throw out boxes of keepsakes relating to old boyfriends, including the panties she wore the night she lost her virginity.
The 25-year-old singer wrote on her Twitter page: “NOOOOO my assistant is making me throw away all my old boyfriend boxes… I mean GIRLS YOU KNOW WHAT I’m talking about. She made me throw away my virginity underwear! NOOOOO!!!!!!! (but then again she said that’s not normal to keep those) I AM NOT NORMAL I KNOW! (sic).
Katy has been packing up her Los Angeles apartment for over a week. She is rumoured to be moving into a new house with her boyfriend Russell Brand. The process has been stressful and Katy has even turned to alternative therapies for relaxation.
She wrote: “taking a break from throwing half of my old life away to get some acupuncture… much needed (sic).”
